Job Description

Currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiovascular Operating Room to work in Dallas, Texas in a state-of-the-art facility. The hospital will have 63 private patient rooms and provide a wide array of cardiac services including complex vascular and heart surgery, advanced heart failure treatment, minimally invasive vascular surgery, and other specialized heart care. The 24-bed facility will provide comprehensive and coordinated spine care for common spine disorders and rare, hard-to-treat spinal deformities including adult and pediatric scoliosis, spondylolistheses, complex spine surgery and minimally invasive surgical options among others.

Job Responsibilities of the CVOR RN:
  • The CVOR (Open Heart) RN (Registered Nurse) performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the Open-Heart Surgery Patients/Surgical Services.
Job Qualifications of the CVOR RN:
  • BSN required within 24 months of hire
  • Surgical experience required
  • Current Texas RN License or valid compact license
  • Current BLS provider, issued by American Heart Association
  • ACUTE CVOR experience required; minimum of 2 years of recent acute CVOR RN experience
  • 1 year of ICU Experience required.
Compensation of the CVOR RN:
  • Salary Range: $32.77 - $53.46 Depending on experience.
  • Night Shift Differential: $3.75/hr. Weekend Differential: $4.30/hr.
  • Sign On: $10K
  • Relocation: up to $3K
  • Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
  • PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
